This Spinach Artichoke Dip is a creamy, cheesy classic that’s perfect for any gathering, whether it’s a party, holiday, or cozy family night in. With a rich blend of cream cheese, sour cream, and a medley of cheeses including Parmesan and Gruyere, it’s wonderfully indulgent, while spinach and marinated artichokes bring a deliciously savory and tangy twist. Serve this crowd-pleaser with chips, crusty bread, or fresh veggies for a warm, satisfying dip that’s hard to resist!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ⅔ cup sour cream
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded Gruyere cheese (or gouda or Swiss cheese)
  • 10 oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 14 oz marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oven
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  1. Mix the Creamy Base
  • In a medium mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and minced garlic. Use a hand mixer to beat on medium speed until smooth and fluffy.
  1. Fold in the Cheese and Vegetables
  • Gently fold in the Parmesan cheese, 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese, Gruyere, spinach, and chopped artichokes until well combined.
  1. Assemble and Bake
  • Spread the mixture evenly into a 9×9 casserole dish or a deep-dish pie plate. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of mozzarella cheese over the top.
  1. Bake the Dip
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the top is golden brown. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  1. Serve and Enjoy
  • Serve with tortilla chips, baguette slices, crackers, or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Tips for the Perfect Spinach Artichoke Dip

  • Draining the Spinach and Artichokes: For the best texture, be sure to squeeze the spinach and drain the artichokes well. This keeps the dip from becoming too watery.
  • Cheese Options: Gruyere gives a delicious, nutty flavor, but gouda or Swiss also work well if you prefer a milder taste.
  • Golden Brown Top: For a more golden crust, turn the broiler on for the last 2-3 minutes of baking, watching carefully to avoid burning.

This warm, cheesy Spinach Artichoke Dip is simple yet irresistible, with perfect texture and flavor in every scoop—ideal for dipping and sharing!
