Strawberry Crunch Cheesecake Cones are a delightful and whimsical dessert perfect for any occasion. These sweet treats feature waffle cones filled with a creamy and fluffy cheesecake mixture, topped with fresh chopped strawberries, and coated with a crunchy crumb coating made from Golden Oreos and strawberry Jello mix. A drizzle of sweet vanilla glaze adds the finishing touch to these charming cheesecake cones.

Ingredients:

  • Waffle Cones: Provide a crispy and edible vessel for the cheesecake filling.
  • Fresh Chopped Strawberries: Add juicy sweetness and vibrant color to the dessert.

Crumb Coating:

  • White Cake Icing: Serves as the adhesive for the crumb coating.
  • Golden Oreos: Crushed to create a crunchy texture.
  • Melted Butter: Binds the crumbs together.
  • Strawberry Jello Mix: Infuses the crumbs with fruity flavor and vibrant color.

Cheesecake Filling:

  • Cream Cheese: Provides richness and creaminess to the filling.
  • Cool Whip: Adds lightness and fluffiness.
  • Sugar: Sweetens the filling.
  • Vanilla Extract: Enhances the flavor profile.
  • Flour: Helps stabilize the filling and prevent it from becoming too runny.

Drizzle:

  • Powdered Sugar: Sweetens and thickens the drizzle.
  • Heavy Whipping Cream: Creates a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • Vanilla Extract: Adds flavor to the drizzle.

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the crunchy crumb coating by mixing together the Oreo crumbs, melted butter, and strawberry Jello mix. Bake until golden and crunchy.
  2. Spread white cake icing on the outside of the waffle cones and coat with the crumb mixture.
  3. Make the cheesecake filling by beating together cream cheese, sugar, flour, and vanilla extract. Fold in Cool Whip until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Fill the waffle cones with the cheesecake filling and top with chopped strawberries.
  5. Prepare the drizzle by whisking together powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Drizzle the mixture over the cheesecake cones and serve.

Tips:

  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for smooth and creamy filling.
  • Be careful not to overfill the waffle cones to avoid spillage.
  • Customize the recipe by using different flavored Oreos or Jello mixes for the crumb coating.
  • Store any leftover cheesecake cones in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
