Indulge in the creamy decadence of this Shrimp and Broccoli Alfredo dish, a delightful blend of succulent shrimp, tender broccoli, and flavorful mushrooms tossed in a creamy Alfredo sauce. Perfect for a quick and satisfying weekday meal, this pasta dish is sure to become a favorite in your dinner rotation.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 cup white mushrooms, sliced
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 medium onion, minced
  • 1/4 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon creole seasoning
  • 1 (15 oz) jar Bertolli® Alfredo Sauce

How To Make Shrimp Broccoli Alfredo:

  1. Begin by boiling the pasta in a large pot according to the package instructions.
  2. In a medium-sized skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the shrimp, onions, and mushrooms, and sauté until the shrimp are cooked through and the vegetables are tender, stirring frequently. Add minced garlic and dry seasonings after 5 minutes of sautéing.
  3. After an additional 5 minutes of cooking, add the cooked shrimp and vegetable mixture to the drained pasta in the pot. Add the steamed broccoli and Alfredo sauce, along with any additional dry seasonings to taste. Stir well to combine and allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Serve the Shrimp and Broccoli Alfredo with breadsticks and a garden salad for a complete meal. Garnish with dried parsley and chives for an extra burst of flavor.

Tips:

  • To save time, you can use pre-cooked shrimp instead of raw shrimp. Simply add them to the skillet with the vegetables to heat through.
  • Feel free to customize the dish by adding other vegetables such as bell peppers, spinach, or cherry tomatoes.
  • For a lighter version, you can use whole wheat pasta or zucchini noodles instead of traditional pasta.
  • If you prefer a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper to the sauce.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Simply reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop before serving.
