It’s a satisfying meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights or lazy weekends when you crave something cozy and delicious. With simple ingredients and easy-to-follow instructions, this recipe is sure to become a family favorite in no time!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 5 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Meat and Onion: In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium-high heat until the onions are tender and the meat is browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Prepare Sauce: In a bowl, combine heavy whipping cream, beef broth, dried rosemary, garlic powder, cream of mushroom soup, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir until well combined.
  4. Layer Ingredients: Layer half of the thinly sliced potatoes in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Top with ⅓ of the soup mixture and half of the cooked meat mixture. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, soup mixture, and meat mixture.
  5. Add Cheese: Top the layers with the shredded cheese, ensuring an even distribution.
  6. Bake: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the delicious flavors of this Philly cheesesteak pasta bake!

Tips:

  • You can customize this recipe by adding your favorite vegetables such as bell peppers or mushrooms.
