This rich and creamy Chocolate Marshmallow Fudge is a classic treat that’s perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth. Made with milk chocolate chips, marshmallows, and nuts, this fudge is both decadent and easy to prepare. It’s an ideal dessert for any occasion, from holiday gatherings to simple family treats.

Ingredients:

  • 1 and ⅔ cups white sugar
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 (6 ounce) package milk chocolate chips
  • 16 large marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pan:
  • Lightly grease an 8-inch square pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  1. Cook the Base:
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the white sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt. Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a gentle boil.
  1. Boil the Mixture:
  • Continue cooking and stirring for about 5 minutes. The mixture should thicken slightly during this time.
  1. Add Chocolate Chips:
  • Stir in the milk chocolate chips until they are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  1. Add Marshmallows and Flavorings:
  • Remove the saucepan from heat. Add the marshmallows, vanilla extract, and chopped nuts. Stir until the marshmallows are fully melted and everything is well combined.
  1. Pour and Set:
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared 8-inch pan. Spread it out evenly using a spatula.
  1. Cool and Cut:
  • Allow the fudge to cool completely at room temperature, or refrigerate for faster setting. Once set, cut the fudge into squares.
  1. Serve:
  • Serve the fudge pieces as a delightful treat for family and friends. Store any leftovers in an airtight container.

Tips:

  • Nuts: Feel free to use your favorite nuts such as walnuts, pecans, or almonds. You can also omit the nuts if you prefer a smoother fudge.
  • Chocolate Chips: For a different flavor, try using dark chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate.
  • Marshmallows: If you don’t have large marshmallows, you can substitute with mini marshmallows. Use approximately 1 cup of mini marshmallows.
  • Stirring: Constant stirring is key to prevent the sugar mixture from burning and to ensure a smooth fudge.

Enjoy this classic and easy-to-make fudge that’s perfect for any sweet occasion!
