Here’s a flavorful and satisfying recipe for Pasta Shells with Ground Beef that’s sure to become a family favorite. With a blend of savory ground beef, aromatic spices, and tender pasta shells, this dish is perfect for a comforting meal any day of the week. Let’s get cooking!

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Sazon perfecta seasoning, to taste
  • 2 cups medium-sized pasta shells
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons granulated Knorr chicken bouillon
  • 4 tablespoons granulated Knorr tomato bouillon
  • 3 Serrano chiles, diced
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 can Rotel
  • Handful of chopped cilantro
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Onion powder, to taste
  • 2 packets red Sazon
  • 1 bay leaf

How To Make Pasta Shells With Ground Beef:

  1. Brown the Ground Beef: In a skillet, brown the ground beef with minced garlic, black pepper, and Sazon perfecta seasoning until cooked through. Drain any excess grease and set aside.
  2. Brown the Pasta Shells: In a deep skillet, heat the oil over medium heat and brown the pasta shells until lightly golden, similar to browning rice-a-roni.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Once the pasta shells are browned, add the cooked ground beef to the skillet. Then, add water, granulated Knorr chicken bouillon, diced Serrano chiles, granulated Knorr tomato bouillon, half of the chopped onion, Rotel, chopped cilantro, red Sazon packets, bay leaf, and garlic and onion powder to taste.
  4. Cook: Stir the ingredients together, cover the skillet, and cook over medium-high heat until the pasta shells are al dente and the flavors are well combined.
  5. Serve: Once the pasta shells are cooked to perfection, remove the bay leaf, and serve the dish immediately.

Tips:

  • Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences. You can add more or less Sazon perfecta seasoning, garlic powder, or onion powder to suit your flavor preferences.
  • Feel free to customize the recipe by adding your favorite vegetables such as diced bell peppers, carrots, or peas.
  • For added heat, you can increase the quantity of Serrano chiles or add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes.
  • This dish pairs well with a side of crusty bread or a simple green salad for a complete meal. Enjoy!
