This fudge recipe is a cherished family favorite, passed down from generation to generation. With its rich chocolatey flavor and creamy texture, this fudge is the perfect indulgence for any occasion. Made with simple ingredients and easy steps, it’s a treat that everyone will love. Whether you’re making it for a special holiday or just craving something sweet, this fudge is sure to satisfy your cravings.

Ingredients:

  • Unsalted butter
  • Granulated sugar
  • Evaporated milk
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Marshmallow fluff
  • Vanilla extract

How To Make My Mom’s Fudge:

  1. In a saucepan over high heat, combine butter, sugar, and evaporated milk. Bring the mixture to a boil, whisking often to ensure everything is well combined.
  2. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and continue to boil for five minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
  4. Add the marshmallow fluff and vanilla extract to the mixture, stirring until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour the fudge mixture into a 9×9 inch baking dish lined with aluminum foil and lightly sprayed with cooking spray.
  6. Allow the fudge to set and firm up by refrigerating it for several hours or until completely chilled.
  7. Once set, slice the fudge into squares and serve.

Recipe Tips:

  • Be sure to whisk the mixture constantly while it’s boiling to prevent burning and ensure a smooth texture.
  • Use a high-quality semi-sweet chocolate for the best flavor and texture in your fudge.
  • To make slicing easier, you can lightly grease the knife with cooking spray before cutting the fudge.
  • Store any leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator to maintain its freshness and texture.
