Indulge in the flavors of a classic bacon cheeseburger without the guilt with this low-carb bacon cheeseburger casserole. Packed with savory ground beef, crispy bacon, and gooey cheese, this dish is a keto-friendly twist on a beloved favorite. Perfect for satisfying your cravings while sticking to your low-carb lifestyle, this casserole is sure to become a new family favorite.

Ingredients:

  • Ground beef
  • Garlic
  • Onion powder
  • Cooked bacon
  • Eggs
  • Heavy whipping cream
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • Shredded Cheddar cheese

How To Make Low-Carb Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef with garlic and onion powder until browned and crumbly. Drain excess grease.
  3. Spread the cooked beef evenly onto the bottom of a 9×13-inch casserole pan. Stir in the cooked bacon pieces.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until well combined. Stir in 8 ounces of shredded Cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the beef and bacon in the casserole pan. Top with the remaining 4 ounces of shredded Cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set, about 30 to 35 minutes.

Recipe Tips:

  • Customize the casserole with your favorite burger toppings such as diced onions, pickles, or tomatoes for added flavor and texture.
  • Make sure to drain any excess grease from the cooked ground beef to prevent the casserole from becoming too oily.
  • Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving to help it hold its shape better.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven before serving.
