Transform your Thanksgiving leftovers into these delicious and convenient Leftover Turkey Stuffing Balls. Packed with turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing, these balls are a perfect way to enjoy a little taste of the holiday in every bite. They’re easy to make and can be served with gravy for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • Gravy, to taste
  • 1 ½ cups chopped turkey meat
  • 3 cups mashed potatoes
  • Panko breadcrumbs, as needed
  • 3 cups stuffing
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  1. Mix the Ingredients:
  • In a large bowl, combine the stuffing, mashed potatoes, chopped turkey, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • If the mixture is too loose and doesn’t hold together well, add panko breadcrumbs gradually until the mixture is firm enough to form balls.
  1. Form the Balls:
  • Using your hands, shape the mixture into evenly sized balls. Place each ball onto the prepared baking sheet.
  1. Bake:
  • Bake the balls in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until they are browned and heated through.
  1. Serve:
  • Serve the turkey stuffing balls with gravy poured over the top or on the side for dipping.

Tips

  • Binding the Mixture: If your mixture is too dry, add a small amount of gravy or broth to help bind the ingredients before adding the panko breadcrumbs.
  • Customization: Feel free to add other leftover vegetables to the mixture, such as chopped green beans, carrots, or corn, to enhance the flavor and texture.
  • Serving Suggestions: These stuffing balls are perfect as an appetizer, side dish, or main course. They pair well with a simple salad or roasted vegetables.
  • Freezing: To save for later, freeze the uncooked balls on a baking sheet until firm, then transfer them to a freezer-safe bag or container. When ready to enjoy, bake directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the baking time.

Enjoy these Leftover Turkey Stuffing Balls, a delightful way to repurpose your holiday leftovers into a new and tasty dish!
