This Ground Beef and Peppers Skillet is a quick and delicious one-pan meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Packed with colorful bell peppers, savory ground beef, and melted cheddar cheese, this dish is both hearty and flavorful. Plus, it’s easy to make and requires minimal cleanup!
Ingredients:
- 1 onion, chopped
- ½ red bell pepper, chopped
- ½ green bell pepper, chopped
- ½ yellow bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- ½ tsp. dried oregano
- ½ tsp. dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- ⅔ cup rice
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
- Cook the Meat and Vegetables:
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef, chopped onion, and chopped bell peppers. Cook until the vegetables are softened and the meat is browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Add Seasonings:
