Garlic Parmesan Roasted Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. Large shrimp, peeled and deveined, with tails intact
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 teaspoons Minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh lemon juice, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped parsley

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the seasoned shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Roast the shrimp in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until they are pink and opaque.
  5. Remove the shrimp from the oven and drizzle with fresh lemon juice to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Tips:

  • Tail-On Shrimp: Leaving the tails on the shrimp not only adds visual appeal but also helps keep the shrimp moist and flavorful during cooking. Plus, it makes for a convenient and elegant presentation.
  • Don’t Overcook: Be cautious not to overcook the shrimp, as they can become tough and rubbery. Keep a close eye on them while they roast in the oven and remove them promptly once they turn pink and opaque.
  • Serve Immediately: Garlic Parmesan Roasted Shrimp is best served immediately to enjoy the shrimp at their freshest and most flavorful state. Pair them with your favorite side dishes such as pasta, rice, or a crisp salad for a satisfying meal.
