These Garlic Butter Air Fryer Mushrooms are a quick, flavorful side or snack that delivers rich, savory flavor in every bite. The air fryer makes the mushrooms tender and slightly crispy on the edges, while the garlic butter infuses them with a warm, aromatic richness. Finished with fresh parsley, these mushrooms are perfect for pairing with grilled meats, adding to pasta, or serving as a delicious appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound mushrooms, halved if large
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer:
  • Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat.
  1. Prepare the Mushrooms:
  • Gently clean the mushrooms by wiping them with a damp paper towel to remove any dirt. Halve any larger mushrooms to ensure even cooking.
  1. Season the Mushrooms:
  • In a bowl, toss the mushrooms with olive oil, soy sauce, and black pepper to coat them evenly.
  1. Air Fry the Mushrooms:
  • Place the mushrooms in the preheated air fryer basket in an even layer. Cook for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even browning.
  1. Finish with Garlic Butter:
  • Transfer the cooked mushrooms to a bowl. Drizzle with melted garlic butter and toss to coat. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  1. Serve Warm:
  • Enjoy the mushrooms immediately while they’re warm and aromatic.

Tips for Perfect Air Fryer Mushrooms

  • Use Fresh Mushrooms: Opt for firm, fresh mushrooms for the best texture and flavor. White button or cremini mushrooms work great in this recipe.
  • Don’t Overcrowd: Air fry the mushrooms in a single layer for even cooking. If needed, cook in batches.
  • Garlic Butter Enhancement: For even richer flavor, add a pinch of fresh thyme or rosemary to the garlic butter before tossing.

These mushrooms make a fantastic, savory side or topping that’s quick to make and loaded with flavor. Perfectly seasoned and tender, they’ll quickly become a favorite go-to recipe for any meal!
