Garlic Bread Pizza is a quick and easy alternative to traditional pizza that combines the flavors of garlic bread with the toppings of your favorite pizza. The garlic bread serves as the crust, providing a deliciously crisp and flavorful base for the pizza toppings. With a layer of rich pizza sauce, savory pepperoni or other toppings, and gooey melted cheese, each bite is bursting with flavor. This recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner or a fun and casual meal with family or friends.

Garlic Bread Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1 Box Garlic Bread Texas Toast (8 slices)
  • 1 Jar Pizza Sauce
  • Pepperoni or other pizza toppings
  • 2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2: Place the garlic bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 3: Spread a generous amount of pizza sauce on each slice of garlic bread, covering one side completely.

Step 4: Arrange your desired pizza toppings on top of the sauce. You can use pepperoni, cooked sausage, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, olives, or any other toppings you prefer.

Step 5: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the toppings, covering them evenly.

Step 6: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 5-6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Step 7: Remove from the oven and let the garlic bread pizzas cool slightly before serving

Tips:

  • Customize Toppings: Feel free to customize the toppings to suit your preferences. You can add a variety of meats, vegetables, and even pineapple or jalapenos for a unique twist.
  • Watch the Oven: Keep an eye on the garlic bread pizzas while they’re in the oven to prevent the cheese from burning. The pizzas are ready when the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the garlic bread are golden brown.
  • Serve with Dipping Sauce: For an extra burst of flavor, serve the garlic bread pizzas with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping. It adds another layer of deliciousness to each bite.
