Fried Bologna Sandwiches offer a nostalgic and comforting meal option with a delightful twist. Fried Bologna Sandwiches

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices bologna
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 thick slices of tomato
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

Step 1: Layer 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on two slices of bread.

Step 2: Place a slice of tomato on top of each bread slice with the mayonnaise.

Step 3: Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the tomato slices.

Step 4: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat on the stove and spray it well with cooking spray.

Step 5: Slice an “X” through the center of each piece of bologna, then place them into the skillet.

Step 6: Fry the bologna slices for 3-4 minutes per side until caramelized and slightly charred.

Step 7: Remove the cooked bologna from the skillet and place three slices on each sandwich.

Step 8: Top each sandwich with the remaining slices of bread and serve.

Tips:

  • Adjust Thickness: You can adjust the thickness of the bologna slices to your preference. Thicker slices may require slightly longer cooking time to ensure they are heated through and caramelized.
