Texas Turtle Sheet Cake is a decadent and indulgent dessert that combines the rich flavors of chocolate, caramel, and pecans in a moist and tender cake. This easy-to-make sheet cake is perfect for feeding a crowd and is sure to impress with its irresistible taste and texture. Ingredients:

  • Granulated Sugar: Adds sweetness to the cake batter.

  • Unsweetened Cocoa Powder: Provides intense chocolate flavor to the cake.

How To Make Easy Texas Turtle Sheet Cake:

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare the baking pan by greasing and flouring it or using parchment paper.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, bring butter, coffee, and cocoa powder to a boil, then pour into the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Add eggs and buttermilk to the batter and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Prepare the frosting by boiling butter, buttermilk, and cocoa powder, then gradually mixing in powdered sugar until smooth.
  7. Spread or pour the warm frosting over the warm cake, then sprinkle with chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
  8. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the cake while still warm.
  9. Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving, and enjoy!

Tips:
