These Easy Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are perfect for parties, game days, or a delicious family dinner. They feature tender roast beef, savory sauteed vegetables, and melted provolone cheese, all sandwiched between soft dinner rolls. The addition of the homemade Everything Bagel Butter adds a flavorful twist to these sliders, making them irresistible.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. shaved Roast Beef
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 9 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 large bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 4 Tablespoons butter, divided in half
  • 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 dozen dinner rolls
  • 2 Tablespoons Everything Bagel Topping

Everything Bagel Topping:

  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup poppy seeds
  • 1/4 cup dried onion flakes
  • 1/4 cup black sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare Everything Bagel Mix:
In a small bowl, mix together all ingredients for the Everything Bagel Topping. Store in an airtight container.
  3. Prepare Everything Bagel Butter:
In another small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons melted butter with 2 tablespoons Everything Bagel Mix. Set aside.
  4. Saute Vegetables:
In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add chopped bell pepper and onion, saute until tender and slightly golden. Set aside.
  5. Cook Roast Beef:
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons olive oil and roast beef. Cook until heated through and slightly grilled.
  6. Assemble Sliders:
Carefully cut dinner rolls in half, keeping them intact. Place the bottom halves of the rolls in a 9 x 13 baking pan. Spread mayonnaise over the bottom halves. Top with heated roast beef, then layer provolone cheese over the beef. Sprinkle sauteed vegetables over the cheese.
  7. Bake Sliders:
Place the assembled sliders in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  8. Add Everything Bagel Butter:
Remove from the oven and place the top halves of the rolls on the sliders. Brush with the prepared Everything Bagel Butter.
  9. Finish Baking:
Return the sliders to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  10. Serve:
Remove the sliders from the oven, cut into individual sandwiches, and serve.

Tips:

  • Ensure the roast beef is heated through before assembling the sliders to ensure even cooking.
  • Customize the sliders by adding other ingredients like mushrooms or jalapenos.
  • Serve the sliders with a side of fries or a crisp salad for a complete meal.
  • Make sure to brush the Everything Bagel Butter evenly over the sliders for maximum flavor.
