Cinnamon Roll Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

This Cinnamon Roll Cake is a delightful fusion of a classic cinnamon roll and a moist, tender cake, topped with a luscious cream cheese frosting. Perfect for breakfast or dessert, it’s sure to be a hit with family and friends.

Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 1½ cups milk
  • 8 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt

For the Topping:

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 16 tbsp butter, softened

For the Frosting:

  • 1½ cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Cake Batter:
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, eggs, baking powder, granulated sugar, flour, and a pinch of salt.
  • Mix until the batter is smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.

  • In a separate bowl, mix together the cinnamon, flour, brown sugar, and softened butter until well combined.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the topping mixture over the cake batter.
