Indulge in the rich and delightful flavors of this Chocolate Bundt Style Cake. The combination of yellow cake mix, vanilla and chocolate pudding, and sour cream creates a moist and flavorful cake that’s perfect for any occasion. The surprise of semi-sweet chocolate chips adds a delightful texture and extra burst of chocolatey goodness.

Chocolate Bundt Style Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1 box of vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 box of chocolate instant pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • ¾ cup of oil
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • Half a 12 oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to Make:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, vanilla instant pudding, chocolate instant pudding, eggs, oil, and sour cream. Mix for 2 minutes until well combined.
  2. Set aside half of the chocolate chips and fold the remaining half into the batter.
  3. Pour half of the batter into a bundt pan, then sprinkle half of the reserved chocolate chips on top.
  4. Add the rest of the batter over the chocolate chips and finish by topping with the remaining chocolate chips.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool before removing it from the pan.
  7. Slice, serve, and enjoy this simple, easy, and delicious Chocolate Bundt Style Cake!

Tips:

  1. Mixing Time: Be cautious not to overmix the batter. Two minutes of mixing is sufficient to combine the ingredients. Overmixing may affect the texture of the cake.
  2. Chocolate Chip Distribution: Distribute the chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter to ensure a balanced chocolate flavor in every bite.
  3. Bundt Pan Preparation: Grease and flour the bundt pan thoroughly or use a non-stick baking spray to prevent the cake from sticking to the pan.
  4. Testing Doneness: Use a toothpick or cake tester to check the doneness of the cake. If it comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs, the cake is ready.
  5. Variations: Experiment with different types of chocolate chips, such as dark chocolate or white chocolate, to customize the flavor to your liking.

Enjoy this Chocolate Bundt Style Cake as a delightful treat that’s quick to prepare and guaranteed to satisfy your chocolate cravings!
