Chili Cheese Dog Bake

This Chili Cheese Dog Bake is a fun and flavorful twist on classic chili dogs, perfect for a quick and easy weeknight dinner or a crowd-pleasing game day snack. With just a few simple ingredients, you can whip up this delicious dish in no time.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (14 to 15 oz) chili, heated
  • 1 pizza crust, can Pillsbury™ refrigerated classic
  • 4 Cheddar cheese sticks
  • 4 hot dogs, all-beef
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon parsley flakes

Instructions:

  1. Preheat and Prepare:
  • Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Spray a 9-inch square or 11×7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  1. Assemble the Chili Base:
  • Pour the heated chili into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly to cover the bottom.
  1. Prepare the Hot Dogs:
  • Unroll the pizza crust and cut it into 4 strips.
  • Cut each cheese stick in half lengthwise and place one half on each side of a hot dog.
  • Wrap a pizza dough strip around each cheese-stuffed hot dog, overlapping slightly in the center. Repeat with the remaining dough strips, cheese sticks, and hot dogs.
  1. Bake:
  • Place the wrapped hot dogs on top of the hot chili in the baking dish.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the dough is light golden brown.
  1. Prepare the Garlic Butter:
  • While the chili cheese dogs are baking, melt the butter in a small microwavable cup.
  • Stir in the garlic powder and parsley flakes.
  1. Final Touch:
  • Remove the baking dish from the oven and brush the top of each cheese dog with the garlic butter mixture.
  1. Serve:
  • Serve the Chili Cheese Dog Bake immediately, either as a main dish or a tasty snack.
  • Enjoy the gooey cheese, savory chili, and flavorful hot dogs all wrapped up in a delicious pizza crust!

Tips:
