This Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake Casserole is a comforting and delicious dish perfect for a family dinner or potluck. Combining tender shredded chicken, creamy soups, savory bacon, and fluffy biscuit pieces, this casserole is both hearty and satisfying. It’s topped with melted cheddar cheese for a bubbly, golden finish that’s sure to please everyone at the table.

Ingredients (Servings: 8):

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 3 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 12 oz. refrigerated biscuits (I used a 12 oz. can)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  1. Prepare the Mixture:
  • In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, shredded chicken, ranch seasoning mix, cream of chicken soup, crumbled bacon, and sour cream. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  1. Prepare the Biscuits:
  • Slice the refrigerated biscuits into fourths.
  1. Combine Biscuits and Mixture:
  • Carefully fold the biscuit pieces into the chicken mixture, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  1. Assemble the Casserole:
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish well. Spread the chicken and biscuit mixture evenly into the dish.
  • Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  1. Bake:
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-35 minutes, or until the biscuits are cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  1. Serve:
  • Once baked, let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy this comforting and cheesy casserole warm.

Tips:

  • Chicken Prep: Use rotisserie chicken for a quick and easy option, or cook and shred your own chicken breasts or thighs.
  • Biscuit Pieces: Ensure the biscuit pieces are well coated in the mixture to help them cook evenly and absorb all the delicious flavors.
  • Extra Flavor: For added flavor, you can mix in some diced green onions or a dash of hot sauce to the chicken mixture.
  • Leftovers: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed through.

This Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake Casserole is a perfect go-to recipe for busy weeknights or casual gatherings, providing a comforting and delicious meal with minimal effort. Enjoy the savory combination of chicken, cheese, and biscuits in every bite!
