These Baked Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges are a delightful twist on classic potato wedges, featuring a flavorful blend of garlic, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. The crispy exterior and tender interior of the potato wedges make them a perfect side dish or snack option for any occasion. Whether served as a game day appetizer or alongside your favorite main course, these potato wedges are sure to be a hit with family and friends.

Ingredients:

  • 4 large Russet Potatoes, cut into wedges
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 4 tbsp Olive Oil
  • ½ cup freshly shredded Parmesan Cheese

Dipping Sauce Options:

  • Bleu Cheese with Parsley
  • Ketchup
  • Queso
  • Artichoke and spinach dip
  • Greek Yogurt mixed with Ranch
  • Salsa
  • Honey Mustard

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the Potatoes:
Cut the Russet potatoes into wedges and place them in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle olive oil over the wedges and toss them until evenly coated.
  3. Season the Potatoes:
In a separate bowl, combine the salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle this seasoning mixture over the potato wedges, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Add Parmesan Cheese:
Sprinkle freshly shredded Parmesan cheese over the seasoned potato wedges, ensuring an even distribution.
  5. Bake the Potato Wedges:
Arrange the seasoned potato wedges on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, with the skin side down. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 35 minutes, or until the wedges are golden brown and fork-tender.
  6. Garnish and Serve:
Once baked, garnish the potato wedges with fresh parsley for a pop of color. Arrange a variety of dipping sauces on the table to complement the flavors of the potato wedges.

Tips:

  • Ensure that the potato wedges are cut evenly to ensure uniform cooking.
  • For extra crispiness, flip the potato wedges halfway through the baking time.
  • Experiment with different dipping sauces to find your favorite flavor combination.
  • Garnish the potato wedges with fresh herbs like parsley or chives for a burst of freshness.
  • Serve the potato wedges hot from the oven for the best taste and texture.
