Indulge in the comforting flavors of Italian cuisine with this creamy and delicious Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti recipe. Tender spaghetti noodles are tossed in a creamy mixture of cream cheese, garlic, and Italian seasoning, then layered with savory ground beef and spaghetti sauce. Topped with a generous amount of melted Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, this dish bakes to bubbly perfection, creating a mouthwatering meal that the whole family will love.

Ingredients:

  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 (28 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 pinch garlic salt
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Cook Spaghetti: Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare Meat Sauce: In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook and stir ground beef until browned and crumbly, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain any excess fat, then stir in spaghetti sauce until heated through.
  4. Mix Cream Cheese Mixture: In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti with softened cream cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the spaghetti is thoroughly coated.
  5. Assemble and Layer: Spread a small amount of meat sauce in the bottom of the prepared baking pan. Place the spaghetti on top of the sauce, then layer with the remaining meat sauce.
  6. Top with Cheese: Sprinkle grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the spaghetti and meat sauce.
  7. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley, if desired.

Tips:

  • Use lean ground beef to reduce the fat content of the dish.
  • For extra flavor, add chopped onions, bell peppers, or mushrooms to the ground beef mixture.
  • Customize the dish by using your favorite spaghetti sauce or adding additional herbs and spices to taste.
